How can I transfer eBooks to X3?

X3 supports multiple transfer methods: Wi-Fi (phone/computer browser), eReader Hotspot (no external Wi-Fi needed), MicroSD card (16GB pre-installed; reader sold separately), and the Xteink App.

What file formats are supported?

Books: TXT (UTF-8), EPUB

Images: BMP, JPG (≤1024×1024px, under 2MB, 3:5 aspect ratio)

Fonts: .bin format only

Note: Only DRM-free EPUB and TXT files are supported.

My SD card won't be recognized — what should I do?

Remove the SD card and format it, then tap RESET and hold Power to restart the device. For large-capacity cards, format to FAT32 on a computer: right-click the drive, select Format, choose FAT32, and click Start.

Does it have a front light?

No, X3 is designed without a front light to keep an ultra-thin body and deliver a clearer, paper-like display. For the best experience, we recommend reading in a well-lit environment or using an external reading light.

How do I connect X3 to Wi-Fi, and what if it won't connect?

Go to Sync/App > Network Connection, select your Wi-Fi, enter the password, and tap OK. X3 only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (enable compatibility mode for hotspots). If it won't connect, try another network or move closer to the router.
